My work is inspired by cultures from around the world, with my most recent work based on a selection of the many cultures presented at the Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology (MAA) in Cambridge.

I am an illustrator who is passionate about history, culture and the world of ancient beliefs. Often my work explores sensitive subjects, a key focus behind my illustrations. Investigating the importance of understanding and re-engaging with the past and our own history.

My practice has developed from a personal interest of visiting local museums such as the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge. I take inspiration from learning the history behind each of the objects on display, exploring every piece and its own pattern, from repetitive, symmetrical, or geometric. From this, I have drawn observations to create the beginnings of my work.

I explore using a range of mediums from paint, mixed-media, collage, digital, pen, ink and more. This has both refined my practice and kept me experimenting with new and exciting ways of working.
